connect contract from the address, instead of singer

I have a contract contract1 deployed. I have a contract2 deployed.

How is it possible that I do contract1.connect from contract2 ? contract2 is not a signer and that's why I am asking.

Can you explain this? Do you want to use contract2's address as contract1?

contract1 = contract1.attach(contract2.address);

Both of the above are deployed. I want to now call contract1.awesome now, but i don't want to call it from signers[0]. One solution ether provides is we can connect from different address and function will be called from that address.

contract1.connect(signers[1]).awesome();

My problem: I don't want to call from signers[1] , but I want to call contract1.awesome from the Contract2.

I can't do this

contract1.connect(contract2.address).awesome()

You have to do that in Solidity

    function callContract1Awesome(address contract1Addr) {
        Contract1(contract1Addr).awesome();
