ROVIO development

Hi all,

I am a Robotics Engineer who has worked extensively on ROVIO. I primarily worked on ROVIO for UAVs.
I would like to start making some contributions to ROVIO to improve it and lot of functionalities like sliding window bundle adjustment, additional sensor updates, ROS2 support, etc.

If anyone would like to see some additional improvements in ROVIO, I would be happy to take in requests. :)

It would also be nice to coordinate the effort with other developers who would like to keep this repo alive and make improvements to it.

relocation and BA

I do think that relocalization is already added in ROVIO here as a part of the maplab repository:

I agree that full Bundle Adjustment is also a good idea that can be implemented. You can keep an eye out for my fork of the ROVIO repository for the features:

I am currently working on ros2 functionality.
