Pip Install of v0.6/v0.6.1

The pip installation of asimov v0.6/v0.6.1 does not seem to include the changes actually made here.

@disharh Could you please elaborate a little on this issue? I don't think this code is in a released version, so I think this is anticipated behaviour? I note that we dropped support for some of this behaviour in 0.7 after it failed testing (we have replaced the functionality with an alternative approach however).
