Automatic update of TIMES source code for Demo?

I have asked for this before, but now I ask again: Does Github not have a mechanism to make a "hard link" from the source folder of the Demo repository, such that it would be pointing to the TIMES source code, and such that the linked source code would be included in any repository Download (because it needs to be included in the Demo)?

For example, now the Demo source is still containing the v4.7.3 source code, even though the current version is v4.7.7. I think it should best be automatically containing the latest version. @olejandro : Do you know how this persisting problem could be fixed?

If Github still does not directly support this functionality, maybe one could perhaps make an action that would trigger an automatic TIMES source code update for the Demo?

@Antti-L, thanks for bringing it up. Normally, when using either git sub-module or git sub-tree, the connection is made to a specific version of a dependency. I suppose this is to make sure the tool doesn't break due to an update in a dependency.

In case of Demos, since you do extensive testing of the source code for backwards compatibility, it does make sense to automate updating of the times version.

I will look into it, but for this time I will just update it manually.
