We as members, contributors, and leaders of the Et-si community pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
- Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility and apologizing for mistakes, and learning from them
- Focusing on what is best not just for individuals, but for the community
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
- Other conduct considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior. They will take fair and appropriate action against behavior that is inappropriate, offensive, threatening, or harmful.
Community leaders have the right to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions not aligned with this Code of Conduct. Reasons for moderation decisions will be communicated when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, including when an individual is officially representing the ETNA community in public spaces. Examples include using an official email address, posting on official social media accounts, or acting as an appointed representative at events.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior should be reported to the community leaders at [etsi.hq@gmail.com]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
All community leaders will respect the privacy and security of reporters.
Community leaders will follow these guidelines to determine consequences for violations of the Code of Conduct:
Community Impact: Inappropriate language or behavior deemed unprofessional. Consequence: A private written warning explaining why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions. Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. The violator may be asked to refrain from interacting with the community for a set period of time.
Community Impact: A serious or sustained violation of community standards. Consequence: A temporary ban from interacting with the community for a specified time period.
Community Impact: A pattern of violations, sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment, or aggression. Consequence: A permanent ban from interacting with the community.
