Status Update: prCEN/TS 18098 - Vote Not Passed, Replanning Expected

prCEN/TS 18098 Guidelines for the onboarding of user personal identification data within European Digital Identity Wallets #322 did not pass the vote, CEN/TC 224 has to decide how to proceed and a new planning is expected.

It is also suggested to replace the current links in the "Work Plan" section that points to a private company as follows:

CEN/TC 224/WG 20 would like to make an important correction regarding the previous post. CEN/TS 18098, titled "Guidelines for the onboarding of user personal identification data within European Digital Identity Wallets", has been APPROVED after verification of the ballot results by CCMC and CEN/TC 224. The full explanation can be found in CEN TC224 N-2863 document. The CEN editor is currently applying the editorial comments and, as soon it is finished, it will proceed to publication. Publication date is still expected to be in December 2025. The exact date will be known in the following weeks.
