Overview
This specification describes data formats as well as validation and processing rules to express Verifiable Digital Credentials with JSON payloads with and without selective disclosure based on the SD-JWT RFC 9901 format.

- 2026-02-05: Draft 14 was published.
- 2025-11-06: Draft 13 was published.
- 2025-10-24: The EC completed the assessment of the TS and found minor gaps.

HAIP will do the same: see and comment - 2025-09-30: The TS is expected to be approved in the IETF WG meeting in November 2025 and the publication date will be in 2026. The EC set tentatively the target quarter to Q1 2026 and will be updated accordingly.
- 2025-08-29: This document is still with the WG for review approval. It is expected that the WG will approve the TS the latest in the meeting in Montreal in early November 2025.
