Hi @dorinclisu ! It should work I guess, it's just a Linux running in a VM. What distro and version are you using? Ubuntu? In Gnome you need to install the package But that exception should not occur. When the appindicator extension is not installed, the main window is launched. But in your case it's failing: See if installing the package |

@dorinclisu , download latest release and try it again please: https://github.com/evilsocket/opensnitch/releases/tag/v1.8.0 I've just tested it on wsl2 with Ubuntu.24.04 and at least it doesn't crash. The Qt theme doesn't seem to work, and there's no systray icon, maybe we need to install some package. |

I tried running opensnitch-ui in WSL2 but the main control panel window is not appearing. However, the popup windows (for deciding on new connections) do appear and seem to work fine.
So the question is, can the UI ever work in WSL2, and what would be necessary for that?
