Hmm that's an interesting idea, thanks for raising it. I think another approach to this which makes things even simpler is to provide "templates". So let's say there's a template of creating one stage with round robin elements, and afterwards a stage with single elimination. Then you choose how many teams per round robin element there will be and it automatically creates enough round robin elements with random teams and single elimination elements for this structure. That way, you only have to press one button and enter the amount of teams per round-robin element, which is even less work than what you propose. We could also add more templates like that in the future. What do you think about that? |

When I create a tournament with (when it's a small one) let's say 24 teams with 5 terrains available I first create a stage with 5 round robin elements with 5 teams each in it.
If the tournament gets bigger it could get quite cumbersome to assign each team to to every slot.
Could there be a button to add random teams from the list to each element ?
Here is an example :

And on the same idea, usually a Round Robin stage with multiple elements are followed by a single elimination round.
Could this also be pre filled with the winners of the previous stage when switching to the next stage ?
1st of group A vs 4th of group B
2nd of group C vs 3rd of group D
etc etc
