Release v0.4.0 #51
Description
We've made a few design upgrades and bug fixes since the latest release, so let's create a new one. This is an issue to track the stuff we need to do for a release and to give others a chance to request we wait for a bit or resolve some questions before doing so.

- Generate changelog
