after pacman 7.1.0 update: trepositories: Failed to synchronize pacman database

Hi,
after updte this morning I've been stuck with repositories: Failed to synchronize pacman databases and for the life of me I just cannot figure out what is going on. Previous version of pacman worked without issues.

Pacman v7.1.0 - libalpm v16.0.1 - Apdatifier 2.9.5.3 (and current dev version)
works normally as expected in konsole, AUR (via yay, paru or pikaur) works, widgets too, even firmaware updates in dev version work, just pacman updates get stuck.

This may be something stupid but it's still over my head. I'd appreciate every advice and suggestion, thanks

Confirmed works great job @exequtic .. Though I get this for firmware
