How do you actually use this?

I am working on a documentation system for a multi-repository system, and I am wondering if this plugin might be part of the solution - I cannot see how to use it though, as I cannot find any documentation for it (which is a bit ironic :)

Hi, the purpose of this plugin was to merge the configurations (mkdocs.yml) between a sub-repository and the main repository (but this can be easily extended).
