Modernized Express Application Template with TypeScript and Gulp

Hi guys,

I recently generated an express app and noticed that it seemed a bit outdated and there was no TypeScript option. I went ahead and modernized the app a bit, updated any old dependencies, and added TypeScript and put it in the repo modern typescript express. I was wondering if you guys want to use it as the new way to generate an express app?
I figured by me doing the work once, everyone going forward can benefit.
