How to use it on a project that has already been deployed in production

I know that using task-master is very helpful for initializing a project. But if I want to use task-master to develop a new feature on a project that has already been deployed in production (and has never used task-master before), what should I do?

So you have multiple options, using our model providers that have code context, you can generate tasks from a PRD using an existing project.

Here are the models that work well for that:

• Claude code
• Gemini cli

We use these as model providers even though they are meant to be used as coding agents, we find it is able to fetch code context really well and create very relevant tasks on existing projects.

Soon we will be adding grok cli to that list and why not codex since it's been asked.
