How do I get a React app to run under a specific domain?

After I "build" the React application, I don't want it to run under any domain other than, for example, "example.com".

How can I do that?

After you build a react using npm run build you will get a folder named build in your project directory. You have to host only the contents of build folder.

• You can do it either a web server like expressJS , nginx or any other. These will need small configuration separate from react.
• You can also use 3rd party hosting services like Firebase hosting or Cloudflare Pages. You wont have to maintain these yourself and are easy to get started with.

Hi, you could try checking window.location.hostname inside your code. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Location
But you still would need additional checks if you want to prevent others to put your website inside an iframe on a different domain.

I mean they can download and edit the code right? Since it is frontend? I want to know if we can prevent these somehow. Obfuscated code maybe helps this?

Are you worried about competitors stealing the code? Or other websites tricking users into believing they are on your website? I don't know how effective obfuscators will be compared to just minification. Consider that people can also start the integrated browser debugger and step through the code that way.

Well, I thought so. So there is no way to do that
... What about some apps that are using API key for using their script?
