Does Hermes not support compiling to native yet?

I noticed that any time I used hermesc to compile it always compiled to Hermes bytecode. It doesn't compile to native yet, does it? Is this because I downloaded the prebuilt binaries from the releases and is not the static branch?

hermesc is the tool that compiles to bytecode. The shermes tool from the static_h branch compiles to native.
