[iOS26] [SDK26] with ActionSheetIOS, specifying cancelButtonIndex causes the button at that index to disappear

Description

When building with iOS26.* SDK, if an action sheet (ActionSheetIOS) specifies a cancelButtonIndex, the button at that index will disappear.

Seemingly undocumented change in iOS 26? - specifying style = UIAlertActionStyleCancel for an alert controller action (which we do based on cancelButtonIndex) when using UIAlertActionStyle style = UIAlertActionStyleDefault causes the button to disappear.

A workaround is to specify undefined or invalid index for iOS 26.

Steps to reproduce

1. Ensure you are using Xcode 26 build tools (check with xcodebuild --version)
2. Build to an iOS26 device or simulator
3. Open the action sheet

Also finding that this is the case when running on iPad (built and running on older SDKs).

I am having issues reproducing this today, using the same reproducer. A little stumped, as I see the original behavior in an iOS project (no RN).

Will continue testing and do some comparisons with native iOS action sheets, as I'm becoming convinced the change in behavior for popover action sheets might be intended.
