Mapnik/OSX C++ incompatibility

Per https://github.com/mapnik/node-mapnik/wiki/Troubleshooting#dyld-lazy-symbol-binding-failed-symbol-not-found, I'm unable to load the demo using OSX 10.9.

Tried so far:

• Upgrading Mapnik to v4.0.0
• exporting the suggested flags
• Using node 8 and 10
