Project status / maintenance question

Hi 👋,

First of all, thanks for making this project available — it looks useful and well thought out.

I wanted to ask about the current status of the project. From the outside, it seems that there hasn’t been recent activity in terms of commits, issues, or releases, so I wasn’t sure whether:

the project is still actively maintained,

it is considered stable and mostly “finished”, or

it has been abandoned.

This information would be really helpful to decide whether to adopt it for a production or long-term project, or potentially consider forking it if maintenance has stopped.

I have submitted a PR in June, it's a simple fix, still not merged. There are other import PRs that are still waiting to be merged. I think sadly the project is no longer maintained.

It's kind of unmaintained, tbh.
I have a pr from 2023 and a friend from 2024... I have the feeling the minimum is being done
