Pin to Microsoft Edge Sidebar?

I've been looking for a way to pin extensions to Edge's sidebar for ease of access without running Edge in full. Sidebar can be detached to the desktop which I find far more convenient.

At first I didn't think there was any way to do so since I have been unable to pin any extensions I currently own to it. Then I found this article, which appears to describe how, with minor additions to code, any extension can be pinned to the sidebar.

What are the chances you might include this feature in GSD?
