Group dials from folders

An option to create entire groups from folders within favorites would be nice.

Could you describe a bit more your usecase?
How did you get a folders full of shortcuts?

not a file explorer folder, a folder inside the favorites of any browser, you choose one of these folder wich usually are grouped content an create an entire group dials even using the name of the folder as group dial name

I see, so basically you want to import some of your browser bookmarks, right?
I'm experimenting with it now, it seems that in Firefox I could drag and drop bookmark folder into empty dial and that could read all links inside. But I can't make it work in Chrome.

So, alternative approach is needed, let's brainstorm some ideas:

1. since I have already import from bookmarks implemented - but accessible only in the initial tutorial window (when addon is first installed), I could reuse this and allow importing bookmarks anytime.

2. when creating new Group, I could add new tab "Import from bookmarks", which would allow you to create new group from bookmarks. Although this would likely took only the top level folder bookmarks, ignoring all sub-folders (since that would require new group to be created).

3. I have plan to create a "virtual group" called "Bookmarks", that will show users bookmarks. But I'm not sure it's actually relevant here, I'm not really sure why I have this on my todo list.

I guess number one seems like the easiest to implement.

Based on your feedback, I created a new empty group and tried dragging a favorites folder, but only the first favorite saved in that folder was created.

The "virtual group" sounds interesting but I don't know if it could be more practical than the regular favorites icon and/or window if you have hundred of favs.
