Can't open Web U (.local)

A few days ago I was able to get my Waveshare 7.5" V2 black and white display working, using InkyPi via pi.local on the browser. I was able to update the screen etc. remotely.

However, for some reason I can no longer open the web UI (pi.local)! Yet I am still able to SSH into it, clone the Git repo as well as reinstall the InkyPi service onto the Pi.

But yeah, now I just get 'ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" .

Thus far I have tried:

• Swapping pi's
• Wiping the SD and reinstalling the OS (64bit default).
• Trying to reinstall using:
  sudo bash install/install.sh [-W epd7in5_V2]

Each time it has "worked" in my cmd terminal, saying everything is installed, and that i can access my pi from pi.local; however I can't

Help would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Browsers sometimes default to the secure connection with "https://" but the web ui does not support that.

Try to manually remove the "s" http://pi.local

Hi there, Thank you for this reply, It ended up working but only because I tried: - A lighter O - Larger SD Card - Wiping the Pi several times The waveshare models not a newbie consumer friendly product; it is not plug and play ... I emailed waveshare about the screen being static and they just said turn it off and on again.
