Yet, it doesn't decypher what exactly "strict HTML spec compliance" means and how exactly htmlparser2 is inferior to parse5.
It looks like that sentence was included to clarify things but instead it just adds some more confusion to the topic of choosing between parse5 and htmlparser2.
