long press type

Hello,
I use fcitx5 in different layouts including French, Japanese and Korean. When I'm writing in Japanese and need to choose a kanji, I can choose between different kanjis by pressing the 1 2 3, etc. keys. When I want to type an accented letter in French, I do a long press on the e for example, and I see all the possible accents with this letter and below each letter a number and if I press on this number, instead of the accented letter only the number is typed. To have the accented letter typed, I have to select it with the tab key.
Is this a bug or do I need to make a request? Thank you very much for your work.

The reason is to not conflict with typing numbers. The default is to use Alt + number to select. If you want you can check the modifier mask to none.
