Basically, my opinion is: Go for it! With more words: There just never was any interest in support MacOS. I'm on Linux, and it seems no-one else so far thought "hey, maybe it could do MacOS, too". But Python by itself should run there, and if we can find compatible tools, I don't see why we shouldn't go there. I don't think I can really help you on that quest, but if you opened a PR with |

I'm not very confident about providing a typer helper because in my quest to copy some workflows I have on Linux, especially those based on I managed to make something work, I'll open a draft PR for now so that we can discuss it if you want, and will use it for a while to see if I can improve it :) |

Hey 👋
I've been using Rofimoji on Linux for quite some time and really appreciate it. I've been "pushed" to work with a Mac for few month now and miss Rofimoji a lot, so I was wondering if MacOS support was explored or discussed already?
I made a quick search in the README, Issues and Discussions and it seems it has never been mentioned.
Rofi is a Linux only tool but Rofimoji supports other selectors, so is there a strong opinion on having it supporting MacOS equivalents?
For example, looking for an alternative to Rofi, I've found choose.
It seems the tool tuple
chooseandpbcopywork very closely to what we have on Linux hence it is not too complicated to adapt Rofimoji.I've made an attempt here and it's already helping me with getting a better experience on my Mac: Lqp1@c4af1bc
The only thing which looks more complex is the autotype feature, for which I don't have any proposal (yet?).
Wdyt?
