Frame the change as what it is, an evolution rather than a removal (#1172)
The paragraph said what AIHawk stopped being. It now says what it was and what it is turning into: born as an agent that applied to jobs in bulk, becoming one you point at the web and tell what to do, with the job application as one thing you can ask for instead of the only thing. The note that the 2024 bulk applier is not runnable stays, in a clause at the end, because somebody arriving from those articles still has to know.

Both halves below are open source and both work today. Pick the one you came for.

The 2024 mass-application bot the press wrote about is neither of them. It is in the git history if you forked it, unmaintained, and it will not work against anything current.

AIHawk was born as an AI web agent that applied to jobs in bulk, which is what the press above wrote about. It is becoming a general one: an agent you point at the web and tell what to do, with the job application as one thing you can ask for rather than the only thing. The 2024 bulk applier itself is in the git history, unmaintained.
