Anyone have a CURL example of sending a POST

So I have copied your demo code

This is my CURL I used

The error we are getting is which means we are not passing the CTX as that is what I can see is the error. (note we are using Hono)

First of all, you need to import your instance of Federation, which is normally named federation. Then, change the below line:

With Context.sendActivity(), an activity to be sent is automatically signed, so you don't have to be worry.

You need to store followers' inbox URL (inboxId) and shared inbox URL (endpoints.sharedInbox) besides their URI (id). Appending /inbox to an actor URI does not work with non-Mastodon servers. Here's how the blog example stores followers:

Plus, setting recipients to "followers" works only when preferSharedInbox is turned on. So, your Context.sendActivity() call needs the below options:

That code does not work. No matter what I tried I could not it to send the Accept back to the server, that is why I followed the documents on the https://fedify.dev/tutorial as that is what worked.

When you want to log an Actor object, I recommend you to directly log the object without doing JSON.stringify() it. JSON.stringify() loses a lot of information in it. For example:

@dahlia So the reason the code in the blog example fails is for this user, there is not InboxId - which your sample code requires or it fails.
