a clear description of the problem

whatever the frontmost application is, when Wi-Fi is connecting, several items of the Menu Bar become unresponsive. as far as i can tell they all belong to Control Center.

a step-by-step set of instructions to reproduce the problem

1. connect to Wi-Fi
2. click the Wi-Fi icon (or battery) in the Menu Bar

what results you expected

menu icons should behave and show the usual popup or menu with information etc.

what results you actually saw

nothing shows up. like the Menu Bar is not even registering the clicks
