Cannot switch to it locale

Cannot change to it locale. It is not installed in the image

On raspberrypi 4 using Trixie. My docker-compose.yaml is:
weewx: image: felddy/weewx:5 ports: - 4040:4040 volumes: - type: bind source: ./weewx/data target: /data - type: bind source: ~/weewx_db/archive target: /data/archive environment: - TZ=Europe/Rome - LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 - LANGUAGE=it_IT:it - LC_ALL=it_IT.UTF-8 restart: unless-stopped
I execute:
docker compose exec weewx locale -a and the output is:
C C.utf8 POSIX
thus I can't switch on locale it_IT.UTF-8. Can't see locales installation in Dockerfile then I suppose locales are not installed in the image.

As far as I can see there's a PR as well concerning this issue
