echo loop test cyclon 10 gx

for hello-world testing from cyclon 10 gx. You need to do a echo respons test, do be sure that you can the respons when you programm cyclon 10 gx to say hello-world. first you need to programm a loop into the 10 gx

Pleas ignor the counter and focus at the block diagram below it has RXD input and TXD output and betwen them is onli a wire connected. Tahts the block diagram for the programming the cyclong 10 gx for the echo loop test. next step finding the usb serial bord to send the signal, windos 10 is not the best opion becaus in the settings you cant find the name for the usb serial port. you need do open some windo wher you can acses this pc press the right mous button and choos feature next whold be connextions(COM&LPT). and choos in this exampl com 4. next step open PuTTY

then tip in the Host name(IP adress)

and press open buton.stop!!!!

don't press the open buton iff you did not chang it do serial.

now pres the open buton

what you you see is a terminal.

next tip shomthing in the terminal

succses. becaus you can see the carhacters that you tip in the terminal, if ther is no respons then ther is some error.

the echo loop test is a simpel test to sheck to test the serial. bord becaus you make a loop you ket the same signal back as you send in. its basiclie a loop becaus you take a cabel connect the third and fourht pin and sent a signal that coms back. and wehn no signal echos back you know that you have the wrong serial bort.
