Measure the battery voltage

Hi!
I'm using a Raspberry Pi Pico W as an oscilloscope with the Scoppy app.

The board is powered from a Li-ion battery via a TP4056 charger module.

I’d like to:

Measure the battery voltage (typically 3.0–4.2 V) using one of the analog inputs on the Pico.

Display the voltage as an indicator inside the Scoppy app, so I know when to recharge the battery.

Is this possible with Scoppy? If not natively, is there a way to add a custom indicator it in?

According to the Raspberry Pi Pico datasheet, VSYS is connected to ADC3 (channel 3) through a built-in resistive voltage divider, which allows monitoring the system or battery voltage.

Is it possible to view this voltage in the Scoppy app, for example as an indicator to know when the battery needs recharging?

Hi,

Sorry but the Scoppy firmware doesn't read ADC3 and so there's no way to display the voltage level for this channel in the app :(

Hi! Thank you for the great project — Scoppy is really useful and fun to use.

I have a small feature request: would it be possible to add support for reading ADC3 (the VSYS voltage) in a future version? On the Raspberry Pi Pico, ADC3 is connected to a resistor divider from the system power input, which makes it very handy for monitoring the battery voltage when the device is powered from a Li-ion cell.

It would be really helpful to have a simple battery level indicator inside the Scoppy app.

I'll add 'battery level indicator' feature to the todo list but I don't know if or when it will be implemented.
