Liquid Staking

Below is an example of a Liquid Staking platform that FVM should be able to support.

FIL staked within the protocol can be lent to storage providers based on their on-chain reputation and earn fees for the DAO. For example, Lido or RocketPool.

Note: Those fees can be used further to benefit the stakers for paying the storage provider fees and store data in perpetuity.

Input:

Access to a protocol that can provide the yield required to create liquid staking on a non-PoS chain

Mechanism:

• Mint tFIL based on FIL deposited in the staking protocol
• Generate yield on FIL based on lending to SPs
• Allow trading for tFIL (based on AMM use case)
