As of Jan 2022, the FVM Forum will be merging into the Filecoin Community Discussion here, as FVM and Filecoin often go hand-in-hand for builders

I wanted a command line tool so I could easily compute the f4 address for an Ethereum address. So I wrote one:

Here’s an example of how to use it:

$ npx filecoin-address-tool delegate-address-from-eth-address ccA92338Ef9535cB7655CfC347c36dd4E6F3663f
f410fzsusgohpsu24w5svz7bupq3n2ttpgzr7s5jap4i
It does a few other handy things, like generate random Ethereum private keys, compute the public Ethereum address for a private key, and generate an Ethereum address for a Filecoin ID address.

It can be run via npx filecoin-address-tool without installing it (as long as Node.js is installed), so it’s handy for tutorials, etc.
