Feature: Add zebra color striping in details layout

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Zebra striping in detail view would be very helpful

• This proposal will accomplish more accessible for those with poor eye sight

I just downloaded today and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to find any alternative icons for file folders other than a bunch of worthless ones that must be preloaded in windows [C:\WINDOWS\System32\SHELL32.dll]. Any directions on how to download and enable alternatives (even just different colors) much appreciated.

Hi, just weighing in on this, I would love this feature! I don't know how it would work for this app, but when i added something like this in css to a project i used .main-rootlist-wrapper > :nth-child(odd) {background-color: #ffffff05; border-radius:4px;}

It has been fixed AFAIK. Worth giving another try: CommunityToolkit/Windows#327

That's great! We should try this again.

I tried the toolkit extension and it's a little better now, however there are some issues where the colors don't update after changing the app theme.
