The ability to further edit the context menu in multiple ways

• Selective Visibility of Context Menu Options: Implement a feature that allows users to choose which options appear in the context menu
• Adjustable Context Menu Dimensions: Provide settings that enable users to modify the size and spacing of the context menu and its text
• Customizable Submenus: Allow users to create personalized submenus within the context menu to organize related commands, reducing clutter and improving navigation.
• Quick Access to System Functions: Provide shortcuts to system utilities like Disk Cleanup, Task Manager, or Control Panel directly from the context menu
• Restore Classic Context Menu Option: Provide an option to revert to the classic context menu layout for users who prefer the traditional interface over the modern design.

Thank you for your feedback. Many of the built-in context menu options can already be turned off from Files Settings. Support for hiding shell extensions is not currently planned, but is being tracked in #13463.

Restore Classic Context Menu Option

While we could technically display the File Explorer context menu, it wouldn't provide the best experience. For example, menu options like changing the layout, copying, pasting, creating new files, viewing properties, and sorting are all linked to File Explorer and wouldn't have any effect if used in Files. Plus, there are many unique features in the Files context menu that you won't find in File Explorer. If there's a specific feature you're missing, please feel free to open a feature request, and we'll be happy to take a look!
