Bug: Card & Grid Icons not displaying properly

Description

When selecting 'Grid' as display, folder icons appear correctly. However, once I navigate away and back again, they re-appear with a black background to them (at least, some of them do). No logic to which folders do or do not have a black background. Files icons do NOT display this problem. (see image).

When I select 'Cards' as the display, the folder icons initially display with the black background but the clears and icons display properly. Note however that the word 'Folder' below appears truncated horizontally and does not appear at all if the folder name takes up two lines. File descriptions (but NOT file names) are similarly truncated (see image).

Steps To Reproduce

1. 'Grid' display chosen
2. Switch to 'Cards' display
3. Switch back to 'Card' display
4. Close app (including from icon bar)
5. Repeat

In many cases the thumbnail issue can be resolved by clearing the thumbnail cache in Windows.
