Feature: Toggle Git Integration

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Files has built-in Git integration. It appears that there is no way to turn this off. A toggle would be helpful for users who are using a competing plugin (like TortoiseGit) or users who simply prefer their standard layout.

Requirements

• A toggle will be added to settings to switch the Git integration on/off.
• If the integration is ON then the user's view will behave as it currently does.
• If the integration is OFF then the user's view will revert to their standard layout.

Thanks for the feedback, if you don't want to use Git features you can just ignore it, you can also turn off the information columns by right clicking them

@klawry the Git columns can be toggled off by right clicking the column headers. We don't currently have a way to disable the status bar buttons, but we'll keep this feedback in mind.
