Feature: Wildcard and file extension support for the filter

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

It would be nice if the filter would support wildcards such as ?* and so on and if "Show file extension" is enabled would also search through the extensions. That way we could filter a folder for files with a specific extension for example *.üdf

Requirements

• Add support for wildcards in the filter control
• If "Show file extensions" setting is enabled, search through filename+extension

Thanks for the feedback, you can already search for a file extension by just typing it like .docx

Oh, that's great! I wasn't aware of the because usually one has to add some wildcard to it.
