Feature: OneDrive sidebar is using the wrong path

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

1. my "OneDrive" storage is linked to C:\Cloud\OneDrive!

2. is it possible, to configure such individual link instead of what is looking to: C:\Users\uhw\OneDrive ???

Thanks for the feedback, Files get the folder location from OneDrive,

• Do you have multiple OneDrive account setup?
• Can you please upload the debug.log file (DON'T copy and paste the text) directly to GitHub (email attachments don't work). You can get it in Files settings > About > Open log location. (You should check it for emails or names you don't want public)

C:\Users\USERNAME\OneDrive is the default OneDrive path, always have been, but when you initially set it up it asks what folder you want to make your OneDrive folder. Did you do this?

Point 1 suggests you did or files wouldn't be synchronising to it, but if OneDrive is looking in C:\Users\uhw\OneDrive it suggests you didn't change it.

Is it correct using C:\Cloud\OneDrive in File Explorer? My impression is Files just using whatever the native OneDrive is set up as.

I move the OneDrive folder path too as I don't store any of my Documents, Pictures, OneDrive folders etc... in C:\Users. I'm new to Files but have setup the OneDrive Client many times so have a little knowledge of the Client App.

what I notes is, that File Explorer always points correctly to "C:\Cloud\OneDrive" & my other privater "Cloud Service" -- Files "OneDrive" link just leads to a "void" -- not essential, but just thought to mention ..

Hi,

there is a user environment variable in Win11 [didn't know that...] -- "OneDrive"! I have set this "C:\Cloud\OneDrive" -- and voilà -- that's it !?!

everything works now fine with "Files"; but I noted recently, my "Pinned Folders" disappear sometimes [completely]
since I have done a fresh install of Win11 25H2 ...
