Putting in my support for this. Files is very interesting to me, and while it's not something I'd install on a server (where I won't put any third party things that are absolutely not required) I was a bit puzzled that there was no option to configure windows file shares and their permissions in the properties window for a folder. If the advanced permission and sharing settings aren't appropriate for Files's intended purposes, that's fine, but if the properties window doesn't have these features, please at least give some way to open the system's properties window for when it's needed. Be it a button, a modifier key (hold down ctrl or shift and click properties and it'll open the system dialog) etc.

Can we get an update on this issue? Is it ever coming to Files? This has been open almost 3 years now.
