Wrong keyboard layout

When i run the script, it changes my keybard layout to english instead of respecting the current layout, which makes it unusable in my case.

Well, I don't use Linux anymore, so I can't really help you with this.

That said, it really should work just fine. I used it with a different layout and had no issues. The script works with key codes, which are just number IDs for individual keyboard keys (not characters). There are no layouts at this level, so I don't understand why it would break something.
