Support Dual Module System: CJS and ESM

Hi, wanted to know if it is possible to support this package as both CJS and ESM as it seems the modern standard in the JS/TS ecosystem. Cheers!

In order to support both CJS and ESM, you need to use exports in package.json. If it may help, I use tsconfig-to-dual-package to build with two different module systems, with the commands set like this (with pnpm):

    "build": "rm -rf lib && pnpm tsc -b tsconfig.esm.json tsconfig.cjs.json && pnpm build:dual",
    "build:dual": "pnpm tsconfig-to-dual-package tsconfig.esm.json tsconfig.cjs.json",
}

Ofc, each tsconfig.json has its own moduleResolution and module properties set.
I guess that the best thing here would be to exploit the need of using exports to export directly modules like /v1 and /v2.
