Firebase phone authentication not working for own device

Hello,
I am trying to add phone authentication for my application, I have addded the SHA-1 fingerprint and also SHA-256 fingerprint in the Firebase Project Settings. Checked it with two test numbers, no issuses at all. But, when I try to login with a real phone number, which is present n the device I am trying to login, I receive the OTP, but, when I enter the OTP, nothing happens, it doesnot go to the next screen instead, it gives me a SMS timeout issue. But, again when enter another phone number, which is not in this device, it logs in successfully. Please help me with this issue.
