Convert results to a list using withConverter

I'm trying to return a list of objects like the movie example in the documentation using withConverter :

 final dealsRef = FirebaseFirestore.instance.collection('deals').withConverter<Deal>(
      fromFirestore: (snapshot, _) => Deal.fromJson(snapshot.data()!),
      toFirestore: (deal, _) => deal.toJson(),
    );

List<QueryDocumentSnapshot<Deal>> deals_ = await dealsRef
        .get()
        .then((snapshot) => snapshot.docs);

My question: how to convert results (deals_) to list of deals : List<Deal>.
