Google Dynamic Links vs. Firebase Dynamic Links

That might sound like a stupid question (and probably is).. but given that there was a "Firebase Analytics" (or Google Analytics for Firebase) which has now been replaced with "Google Analytics" this imho is kind of justified..
The README of firebase_dynamic_links speaks of

Google Dynamic Links for Firebase

While the firebase documentation says simply "Firebase Dynamic Links" - Is there any difference? Was there a rebranding of some kind? Or is it similar to Firebase Analytics (ie. Google Analytics for Firebase) vs. Google Analytics (ie. GA 4) some replacement?
