Package can be used in a non-flutter context?

Can't manage to install the firebase_core package with dartsdk pub

The current Dart SDK version is 2.17.6.

Because firebase_core >=0.1.0 requires the Flutter SDK and firebase_core <0.1.0 requires SDK version >=1.8.0 <2.0.0, firebase_core is forbidden.
So, because wcss depends on firebase_core any, version solving failed.

My project dont use flutter since i dont need a 30MB GUI library (and i really dont get how you ended up merging a cloud library with a GUI SDK... anyway...), can i still install this library outside of flutter a context? How? Any alternatives for dart cli?
