Unable to use Firebase emulator

Following multiple issues, I've tried using the emulator like so

    version: "1",
    collections: [articleCollection],
    onFirebaseInit: async (config, app) => {
        console.log(app)

        const db = getFirestore(app)
        const storage = getStorage(app)
        const auth = getAuth(app)

        connectAuthEmulator(auth, 'http://127.0.0.1:9099')
        connectFirestoreEmulator(db, '127.0.0.1', 8080)
        connectStorageEmulator(storage, '127.0.0.1', 9199)
    }
}

on FireCMS Cloud, but I'm unable to make it work. The logs prints my config as present, but the Init is never called, and FireCMS is still using production database
