Firedrake installation issue

Hi! I am trying to install Firedrake on a new PC following the instructions from the Firedrake website.

I get the following error right from the begining:

sudo apt install $(python3 firedrake-configure --show-system-packages)

TypeError: 'ABCMeta' object is not subscriptable

The error comes right from "firedrake-configure --show-system-packages"

I suppose there was an update of the software and a typo occurred. If not, what did I do wrong?

What version of python are you using? We require 3.10+

Thank you! This is the reason. The python version seems to be 3.8.10
