The new version of Flameshot (v13.1.0) isn't working properly on Windows. When taking a screenshot, the screen is reduced and the resolution is reduced. In other words, instead of taking a screenshot of the entire screen, it can only take a screenshot of a reduced portion of the screen.

I was going through the same thing, this alternative was a little better, it still reduces the screen (I don't know if it could be because I have 2) but it's not reducing the resolution. @mmahmoudian

Additionally, I’d like to mention another issue: After installing version 10, I disable the automatic update option from the settings. However, even though I turn off this feature, the system still installs the new version automatically when I restart the computer.

removed the old flameshot and all permissions, installed 13.1.0, runs again... weird

If you are looking for a Windows version, which doesn't need an installation, then you just didn't find it; it is on the release page:

Please note, that it is not 100% portable beacuse the settings are stored inside the users folder 'C:/Users/MrX/AppData/Roaming/flameshot' (see #3848)

Using latest version, with 2560x1660 and 150%, the screen capture reduces the screen area, making it impossible to use.

It only works "good" if I change to 1920x1600 and 100%

Downgrade to v12.1.0 (96c2c82) and everything works nicely.
