How to set pictures library directory ?

I've installed OpenBoard on archlinux through this flathub package, as it is the stablest way on this ever moving distribution (I think). And it's cool, thanks a lot.

I've manage to copy the previously created OpenBoard document to $HOME/.var/app/ch.openboard.OpenBoard/data/openboard/document, and it's fine.

But now I have an issue with pictures. I can't add and the reuse picture in the library on the right. I tried to set in /var/lib/flatpak/app/ch.openboard.OpenBoard/x86_64/stable/46b7598b1db3c35d841ea5986363dfd891858409f3f0f0c1e11ae70b6d69f28f/files/share/OpenBoard/etc/OpenBoard.config the App/UserImageDirectory to /home/user/Pictures/OpenBoard (as there are already some picures there), but without success. Is it the right file ? Is it even possible ?

I think it could be related to #9.

OpenBoard has home access, so as long as the directory is in your home folder it should be able to access it. For me it stores its images in ~/Bilder/OpenBoard/, which should be ~/Pictures/OpenBoard/ in english.

@jbbgameich Thanks for your answer. In fact, here it's in French, ~/Images/OpenBoard. 🙂

But anyway, I must do something wrong, because the OpenBoard picture library doesn't load the content of ~/Images/OpenBoard and when I try to do a printscreen in OpenBoard and add it to the library, I get an Icon saying that something went wrong. But I have not much idea where to look to find a solution.

You could try whether you can access your image library, by starting bash inside the openboard flatpak: flatpak run --command=bash ch.openboard.OpenBoard.
